The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has threatened to sue ICANN if the organizations trademarks are not added to a restrictions list, keeping potential registrants from registering names.
The IOC first threatened ICANN back in April over the introduction of new TLDs. The organization issues a statement asking for a meeting with ICANN. ICANN responded with an offer for a face-to-face meeting, but there’s no word yet on the results.
