The Assistant Secretary of Commerce, Larry Irving, announced that their contract with Network Solutions would likely continue for up to six months after the end of their March ‘cut-off date’. The NSF agrees that they haven’t had enough time to put a new data system into place and won’t walk away until all of the bugs are worked out.
