Afilias announced that as of May 2002, there are now more than 200,000 live websites using the .info domain. The report shows that growth is particularly strong in Europe. The 200,000 live websites constitute 24% of all .info registrations. Another 9% redirect to another TLD (i.e. .com or .net) and another 12% are parked pages. A total of 65% of all .info registrations are considered ‘active’ in some way or another.
