The new .name TLD, which rolled out this week, has gotten off to a slow start with 60,000 domains registered. These numbers are below the initial estimates and below the roll-outs for the .biz and .info TLDs, which each had upwards of 200,000 registrations during their opening. Administrators expect registrations to pick up as they roll out .name marketing campaigns.
