Nominet has worked hard over the years to make the .uk TLD a success and they’ve done their jobs well. .uk is the third largest ccTLD (beat only by .de and .cn). Recent surveys reveal that British internet users are six times more likely to visit a .uk domain name than a .com. 72% of their respondents said they would rather visit a .uk name than any other.
