House Moves Against Cybersquatting

October 26, 1999 in News

Today the House passed a bill that would protect trademark owners from cybersquatting. The organization set up to oversee the domain name registration process had been working for a solution to the cybersquatting problem for several years, and claims the bill undermines their work.
