The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) reached a landmark decision in a .info trademark infringement case. INT Media Group, owners of the InternetNews.com trademark, sued Spanish entrepreneur Christian Castresana’s use of InternetNews.info. The company claimed that they attempted to register the domain during the .info sunrise, but says the registration was botched. In the suit, the WIPO ruled that Castresana could keep the domain.
