Web Site Hosting
Ok, you've bought a name... and now you
want to use it! Here are some sites that offer web hosting services, under a variety of
plans and at a wide range of prices.

Digiweb Inc.
Digiweb offers a number of web hosting packages, from $20 a month. They also offers a very
special FREE web site service: if your site receives 10,000 unique visitors a month, and
you display their banner (Digiweb supplies a special banner and script to check the stats)
then your site is free... They also offer domain name registration in over 15 countries.
Hiway Technologies
Sing their praises, then sing some more... Hiway are the nice folk who host Internet
Gold-Rush. So far, I have been with them 3 months, and absolutely no problems, no
complaints. They have answered every email within 1 working day. Highly recommended!
Angelfire
For the ultimate in bargain web hosting, check out Angelfire -- sites are free! If your
site is non-commercial [or at least non-banner ad supported] and you can shoehorn your
message into 200Kb, then this is the place for you. You won't have to open your wallet to
maintain a web presence... great fun for students, and those on a super-tight budget.
GeoCities
You can get a totally FREE homepage at GeoCities simply by completing the registration
form. This will also give you a free email address, possibly just the thing to use as a
spam sink when posting to USENET or discussion lists. Remember that the site must be
personal, not commercial -- on the other hand, you get a stunningly generous 2Mb of disk
space to play around with!
Webhosting.net

Prowebsite
Prowebsite used to host my website, but it got a little slow at times... however they are
a great choice if you are on a really tight budget and just run a small site. With 20 Pop
mailboxes, unlimited traffic and more they are at least worth a second look.
