I have a domain name-related site that you have not yet
listed. Will you review my site and link to me?
We review all site suggestions,
but we are highly selective when
it comes to the sites that
appear in the Resources
listings. There are thousands of
companies working in or on the
margins of the domain name
industry so any attempt at
comprehensive listings would
render the information
worthless; we aim to offer a
representative selection of good
quality sites and services. Note
that since we receive dozens of suggestions each week, we do not
generally respond
to each one individually. If
your site has been shortlisted
for inclusion, it will generally
appear in the listings within 4
weeks. If your site has not been
selected, you should only
resubmit it for consideration if
it has changed in a major way.
By
what right do you get to choose
which sites get included in the Guide?
Since this is our
site, we reserve the right to
exercise editorial control over
which sites and services get
included in the guide. We have
received many emails from our
visitors praising the Guide for
its objectivity and breadth of
coverage.
IMPORTANT
NOTE
If you link to
iGoldrush.com before
submitting your site for
consideration, we will
naturally be more
favorably disposed when
reviewing it.
Nevertheless, we reserve
the right to reject
listings for any reason.
Sites that write to us
REQUIRING a reciprocal
link are almost guaranteed
to be excluded from the
Resources section. |
Is
a reciprocal link obligatory in
order to get listed in the Links section of the Guide?
No, but see the IMPORTANT
NOTE just
above this question. Sites that
provide a reciprocal link will
be flagged in the Links section
with an enhanced listing.
I run a site
that's not directly about domain
names, but which fits into one
of the other categories on the
Links page. Should I submit it
for consideration?
Please remember
that the focus of this site is
ALWAYS on domain names. At the
same time, ancillary resources
such as a dictionary, thesaurus
or trademark search engine for
example may prove of interest to
our visitors. If your site has
no connection of any kind with
the domain name industry are
very unlikely to be listed.
I
have a problem with the comments
you made in reviewing my site.
What can I do?
Please be careful
to draw a distinction between
errors of fact and differences
of opinion. If we got our facts
wrong (i.e. we made a mistake)
then please
let us know and
we will try and
fix the problem. If you disagree
with our opinion of your
site, then remember that our
review is just that: one
opinion. Just like books or
movies may receive good or bad
reviews, so can domain name
sites!
